Therapy Services
Physical Therapy
To maximize your independence with walking and transfers, your physical therapist will work with you to develop a customized plan to improve your strength, range of motion, and balance. This will allow you to return safely to your home. Through advanced technologies and other modalities, your physical therapist will help you overcome challenges so that you can resume your normal daily activities.
Occupational Therapy
As part of your treatment plan, your occupational therapist will meet with you one-on-one to discuss how to improve your ability to perform activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. We want you to feel confident and safe about returning home after working with our occupational therapy team.
Speech Therapy
The Speech Therapist at Tomball Retirement Center will assess your communication and swallowing challenges and create a treatment plan to help you achieve the highest possible level of function. It is important to seek the assistance of a Speech Language Pathologist when recovering from a stroke or another neurological condition that affects swallowing and communication in order to improve your chances of returning to your home.
